    Default Xara 365 export text issues

    Maybe someone can assist incase I'm missing something....Xara 365 previews fine, but after uploading to server, text is blocky, fuzzy, or almost bold looking. 16pt Verdana, and some others. basically im having to export from v 11 premium to get nice text. any ideas appreciated.

    Welcome to TG Seabatt. Can you supply the url of the site displaying this problem?

    This seems to be an issue with just firefox. (tested on 3 different computers, Firefox 46.01)
    Renders fine on IE, Chrome.

    All I can think is the text block is being rendered as an image.
    Click and drag it in the browser and if it all moves, it is an image. You may have rotated the text box slightly.

    A link would help.

    I've just done a blink text between Chrome and Firefox v43, v45 & v46); Firefox does render a tad darker but not blocky in any way.

    There's definetly a difference between FF's rendering and Chromes. FF looks 'bolder' but not blocky.

    Verdana is a websafe font so I can't understand why your site has:

    @font-face {
    font-family: "Verdana Regular";
    font-style: normal;
    font-weight: normal;
    src: url("XaraWDGeneratedHTMLfont1.woff") format("woff"), url("XaraWDEmbeddedHTMLfont2.eot?") format("embedded-opentype"), local("Verdana Regular"), local("Verdana");
    }
    in the html ???

    If I try using Verdana in a test page, FF & Chrome look exactly the same, however the code behind it is slightly different. I've no idea what this means though.

    @font-face {
    font-family: "Verdana Regular";
    font-style: normal;
    font-weight: normal;
    src: url("XaraWDEmbeddedHTMLfont1.eot?") format("embedded-opentype"), url("XaraWDEmbeddedHTMLfont1.ttf") format("truetype"), local("Verdana Regular"), local("Verdana");
    }
    What's the difference between .woff and .eot is beyond my understanding

    EDIT: This appears to be a difference between XDPX11 and XWD365Premium html output.

    Thanks guys for looking. Uploaded version output by Version 11 premium, same font, same settings and it renders correctly.
    For now, seems I cannot use 365 version.
