Web Designer 365 Premium - Painfully slow upload when publishing.

Having just upgraded to 365 Premium, I notice a few things...

1) Publishing - the upload is PAINFULLY slow, by a factor of 5 or more (1/5th of the upload speed of WD11P)
2) Animations a bit sporadic - tried adding fade from left or right - got nothing at all on website.
3) Parallax scrolling - NICE! Thank you! Very jerky in the preview browser, much smoother in Chrome, Edge, etc...

Ian, raise 1) as a Xara ticket.

As an interim export locally and upload using an FTP client; I prefer this as I can see what is uploading and allows me to tune my design with custom Names and other aspects. I do this as a large upload means a longer initial download and if you are after new eyes on your site, you don't want them to wander off.

2) These effects are CSS3 so they ought to work. If these and 3) are sporadic / jerky then you might still be waiting for the DOM to fully download. If you refresh (F5), does the second presentation work any faster (alludes to issue 1)).

Xara always excludes the Preview as being wholly representative. Running from a local filestore is also not representative. Publish and test.

Ian - Are you using Xara Hosting or Magix Hosting or an outside hosting company?

I published a simple page to Xara Hosting and for whatever reason it took about 20 minutes. But after one publish everything returned to normal.

I have also published to my normal web host and have not noticed any changes one way or the other.

I'll report 1)
Adding the animations just did not work for me at all. They were images on a pre-existing site - I simply added the animations - the images were no longer visible. I'll play with that one further in case I did something stupid!

Ah, it seems that indeed, after the arduously-slow first load, subsequent loads are faster.

It seems the bug of only uploading changed pages has been fixed...! (Never worked in WD11P)
