Funny! What I meant was that the CD version is older than what people are working on right now and thus they need to update. Which you have to do online and for which you need the Xara servers.

By the way Rob, this is perhaps a good time to repeat an old request to have a separate installer on the CD for the contents. Would make things a bit easier.

We can add it to our wishlist for future versions but I don't know the feasibility / demand for it.

I personally do not know anyone who likes on-line only content. Doesn't matter the company offering it, be it Xara or Corel, or ...

But then, I don't personally know anyone who likes any form of "be connected or you cannot use your perpetual license software," or, "Sorry, you have to rely on some dweeb ensuring our servers are up 24/7 and functioning properly for you to use your software," either.
