I like this photo of a bee because it looks like a little alien on a wooden landscape.

Actually, the background wasn't removed. It was taken in my bathtub as stated in the post.

Here's an unusual insect. Snapped this shot of an Argus beetle larva. Guess what it carries around on it's back?

A small hairy brown spider I photographed on my salmon colored living room wall.
It was priceless, my granddaughter called me into the living room and loudly announced: "Grandpa, there's a spider on the wall!".
I retrieved my camera and proceeded to take pictures of it.
"I should have know better than to call you," she indignantly yelled. LOL

Larry, I think most people are on your and my granddaughter's side. How about something a little less threatening?
This is a top and side view of an Azalea Moth that was on my screen door last night.

Thank you Mar4k, that iis indeed "less threatening". Have you ever seen a dead moth laying on the floor, and the light catching the eyes just right and they glow? That is kind of spooky.

I have seen that phenomenon, Larry, and it is rather spooky. Here is one that is quite alive and rather pretty. I've been taking a lot of moth photos lately, this one is a Tiger Moth.
