Great job Egg. Looks like that could cause some damage. I have one question; what is the purpose of the texture in the cage sourrounding the radio antenna (top left rear)?

Nice, Egg.
Larry, it looks like wire to me.
It stops the picnic falling off the edge of the roof in tight turns! .... Okay, I admit it, that's probably not the real reason.
You do know the reason I use a computer is because they won't let me have anything sharp don't you!

Nice rendering Eric. From the looks of the barrel it could fire quite a distance, eh?

Cheers all. I drew the image from a fairly small photograph and I'm usure what the "cage" is for. A canary cage to test the atmosphere perhaps?
The barrel appears to be telescopic as other photo's have shorter length barrels but on the otherhand this might be two different models.
Anyone interested an vie my source origin HERE
EDIT: Thinking about it some more I very much doubt the barrel is telescopic!

That's one mighty big gun you're packing there, Egg. Nicely drawn.
Egg I was going to put a "canary" inside that fence or whatever it is as a joke but changed my mind.
I do like your drawing bye the way.

Brings back some memories Eric,
I spent some months on its predecessor http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/M109_howitzer

I came across this image of a model of the gun and you can see it from above. From this and other images in the stream, you can see it's just a shallow open cage to stow stuff on top of the turret and stop it sliding off. I guess you can attach straps to the cage to secure the load.
