Nice photos, but, I could have done without the spider!

Thanks Larry. Unfortunately I have many spider photos.
Here's one that was hanging out under my porch light waiting for dinner.

It's probably obvious from my posts that I hold a penchant for dragonflies.
I believe this is my favorite dragonfly photograph.

I like this one too. The glistening alien-like look appeals to me.

i'm glad i found this part of the forum as these pics are fantastic!! a lot of my pics are macro too. (i've included a snap of my son's bearded dragon) and while mine are not as incredibly detailed as the ones posted here since they're taken with a 8MP phone camera, a lot of people are amazed at how good they are. hopefully they never see yours to compare against

as a side note...i just picked up an actual camera....a 1955 Rolleiflex 28D camera in perfect condition that i'm gonna try out in a couple of months when the weather is nicer. hopefully something turns out good enough to post up here

thx for sharing your pics Mark. hope to see more of them

Here's at shot of a cecropia moth fresh out of its cocoon and drying its wings.
I noticed the cocoon in the fall waited all winter and then checked it every day
the next spring waiting for it to emerge.
