Strange results when converting perspective mould of bitmap to editable shapes

Description (Pro X10):

1. Import bitmap.
2. Apply Perspective Mould.
3. Mold bitmap.
4. Convert to editable shapes: The bitmap still appears molded, just not exactly in the way I chose in the previous step.

Known bug?

Workaround, not so great: Convert to bitmap instead of to editable shapes.

That's expected behavior.

From the Help, XDP10 Pro, "...You can perspectivize all types of objects including text and bitmaps. Note that bitmaps lose perspective if you later blend them or convert them to editable shapes..."

Arrange>Create Bitmap Copy (Shift, Control +C) will retain the distortion.

They don't just use the perspective applied with the mold. Instead the result is a distorted bitmap, sometimes with corners clipped, sometimes even close to the mold. It could be that Xara tries to approximate the mold using other tools, such as clip, shear, rotate, and resize.

Arrange>Create Bitmap Copy (Shift, Control +C) will retain the distortion.

That's how I'm doing it now - see above. It requires me thinking about resolution, though.

What happens appears to be random, and confusing it is. As - according to the documentation quoted by @Fred-C - Xara doesn't support conversion of molded bitmaps to editable shapes, I think the menu item should simply be grayed out.
