Unhappy Toolbars configuration lost when leaving the program

In the new version of Xara P&L Designer 10, the toolbars configuration is lost each time you leave the program.
This is quite boring when you have spent time to create a specific one. I guess this issue is present in each new version ...

Did you try running as administrator? - you should only have to do that once.

    Hi Dan

I just tried this in PLD 9 and it works fine. I cannot think it has changed.

Did you place your tool bar on the Infobar?

    I've got the same Problem,
tested it several times as Administrator, every time you end the program and starts again all bars except for the "default" bars are gone!

    tg still running version Pro-X9.

    Hi,

Thank you all for your replies.

Yes Gary, I placed the toolbar on the info bar and performed a few attempts in different locations...
Glenngosack, running the software using the administrator mode does not solve the problem.
The same as you Ruud. P&L 9 works fine with toolbar configuration.

I have checked the Xara G&P 10 trial version. The issue remains the same...
I guess we will have to wait for the next update !

    Have a nice day all.

    Hi.
I've got the same problem in XDP10, everytime I relaunch the program the control bar resets to default, when ProX10 is running, there isn't the "BarsNormal" string in the windows registry,
when the program is closed the string appears again without modifications
I wrote to Xara Support and sent them some files and the backup of Windows registry,
After a few days they answered me that the Xara developers have established the cause of the problem and a fix is being implemented in the new patch that is due to be released (at least for that concerning XDP10)
I think this problem happens only on some O.S or Language O.S. , I have got Windows 7 Home Premium Italian language.

My OS is also Windows 7 Home Premium (french).
    That's a clue !

Happy to know that the next patch will fix the issue.
On the other hand, it is time to look at the Quick Reference Card to learn some key shortcuts.
