Not perfect but had a lot of fun doing this one. Learnt a lot from your files Gary, I will try to improve on the 3D text but as Egg said, it's not easy doing those letters. It is well worth the effort to learn and improve on this this tips and tricks.

Cheers csehz for your kind remarks, I've not posted, as many have about the lack of drawing tools in XPD-P10 but I think my image says it all Think I'll just upgrade to XPD10 and stick with my XPD7 as well, which I love.

Your piece shows a lot of work and thought, stygg, specifically "thinking outside of the box (or cube!)".

You're putting what you've gained fronm previous tutes into each successive composition and it's exciting to see where you go each month!
By the way, LEGO men can beat the crap out of Cube men and besides they got a movie this summer!

Gare thanks for the tutorial, just have tried which always wanted once mixing the rainbow colours on the extrudes

Also a little bit different angle of the characters to hide the fact that does not seem to be easy to mix ranbow lights on the depth of the extrudes or how to say

If I might make a suggestion: you already have the geometry in-place for the extruded sides. With a little work, you could draw over the sides and add a gradient of your choice.

That's one of the neat things about Xara: you can mix different media!

Once you get an extrude the way you want it, you just draw over the darned thing, and use any side colors you like:
