one way...
you need to be in the selector tool
select the circle and then click on the handle that is circled in red and keep the mouse key pressed whilst dragging it down - the shape should squash
if you are missing some handles, make sure that the 'show selection bounds handles' button on the top left of the selection tool infobar is pressed - if necessary toggle it on/off
PS - you need to select the circle, it will not work if it is part of a group and you select the group
ah well - maybe it does not do that in web designer - sorry - I loose track of the differences
So, you work with Designer Pro X?
yes...
if this feature is missing in web designer I am surprised, but it is not meant to be a drawing program I guess...
According to his profile toplisek is using WD7 so the feature may be there in newer versions (I don't have the time to check just now) See the little lock icon on the info bar? click that to disable it and then pull down on one of the top corners and you should be able to squash the ellipse. Also when posting it is always helpful if you could include the name of the Xara program and the version number that you are using. That way others that are trying to help you will have an idea of what features you have access to and can tailor their answers to your needs.
