I'm currently working on black and white images and it is hard to spot the selection marks because the're black. Is there a way to change the color so they will stand out more?

When I have that problem, I apply some flat transparency to the image, then I can see what I am doing, then return to normal when I have finished.
Mooie voeten in je avatar! ;-)

Xara uses the color wheel opposite value to make the selection handles (the small squares) stand out. But the opposite of 50% black is 50% black and when you are working in black and white this can happen quite often as you are discovering.
I'm not sure which product you are using but you can switch to Outlines view to select the control handles, and then back.
I would love to have the selection handles display in cyan as that color pops the best on my monitor.

depending what you are doing switching to solo mode and back may help [ctr+alt+s - can customise this in pro to something else]
Thanks for the solutions, I will try them to see what works best for me.
@ Grenou: Bedankt voor het compliment, ze mogen er wezen, mijn onderdanen ;P
