Default How do you get link buttons to remain fixed with respect to the background.

I know how to get a graphic to remain fixed on a non-scrolling background but How do I achieve the similar effect for a button with an active link such as a facebook or twitter button. This website illustrates the effect I'm looking for: http://www.doubledgoc.com/

I see you're using WD6 & 7 ... try this, I think it should do the trick (except for the no page clipping bit, you won't need that) ...

I need it to remain fixed with respect to the pasteboard background, not the page itself.
In other words, I want it to behave like the social media buttons at the left side of the website: http://www.doubledgoc.com/

Then apply "NoPageClipping" and put the object on the pasteboard. Did you look at the demo I linked to? Is that what you mean? Seems the same as on your link. Check out the triangle in the left top corner

Another one demonstrated here ... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lTEnjgEHy0c#t=56

NB At the start when he says "MouseOver layer" he means "MouseOff layer"

    Using this tweak ...

    FixedTab (1).xar

... you just position where you want

Also take a look at this example: http://xara-users.info/demos/left-ri...mple/index.htm and click on the orange button, "SideTab Tweaks" in the upper right corner to go to the respective thread. By the way, the tweak that Zaphodeist posted above is exactly what you need and was posted on page 4 of that same thread.
