I downloaded and upgraded to D Pro X9 - have then received the CD. Should I install the CD over the present downloaded program, un-install and then re-install or is it not necessary to do either, just keep going with what I have downloaded? Tks - jb

Take a look at this thread: http://www.talkgraphics.com/showthre...-Install-XDPX9. One of the Xara employees chimed in and gave some useful information.
Tks, Boy - as I understand it I do not have to do anything with the CD - hey, it's a nice looking CD! - jb
The CD is often not as up to date as the download.
However the CD contains all of the gallery content that gets downloaded to your computer, a healthy chunk. So don't use it as a Frisbee just yet.

If you are asking if you get more stuff on the CD...I believe the answer is no PROVIDED you do a full install from the download version.
OK - so how do I know if I have the whole program from the download? Seems it might be best to re-install from the CD and then update.
Another question, is that a way to prevent the program from going out for an update every time it is opened? Since updates is something Xara does not normally do it seems a waste of time - it takes this program a much longer time to open than the past programs from Xara. - jb
Help>>Download content installer & Pan Studio the latter is optional
