Hi,
does anybody had the same experience?
Applying 3D to a shape and then using the extrude tool (changing a few times the extrusion) causes a crash here in Pro X 9.
I had the same in Pro X.

tried it a couple dozen times with no problems - running windows 8, 8G RAM and pro X9 64 bit.

I can't repeat it either. Can you tell us exactly what steps you take to get the crash? and are you using the 32bit or the 64 bit version? Also when it crashed do you get the send report dialogue come up? Filling that in and giving the developers the exact steps you took leading up to the crash and if you can attach a file that shows the problem can be very helpful to them.
Have you tried running as administrator?

Autocorrect: It can be your worst enema.
I have experienced several crashes in X9 but at the time wasn't logging the exact steps I took so didn't say anything. I do know the extrusion tool was being used on some of those occasions.
Yesterday i tried to force a crash with 3D and extrude, but it didn't work
But it happened with Pro X too, sometimes. With X 9 (Demo) in 64Bit.
Not running prog. as Adminstrator, only once, because to fix a missing entry.
The send report dialogue came up, but i didn't send it, next time i will.
I can usually force such a crash on 64-bit by dropping a colour onto the extrude.
My workaround has been to use the Colour editor.
I think it is only on a web page too.
