I like what you've done with the image. It successfully captures a moment in time when Amber and the rose would have had your undivided attention. In that it reminds me of a great movie: In the movie 'Fisher King' Robin Williams sees his sweetie across a crowded train station. In his mind the room transforms to a ballroom and they are dancing. Well worth renting the movie for that touching scene alone.

PS Did your son graduate too?
Nice Treatment Ed. Try feathering the edges of the bitmap a little more. The cut appears very abrupt by her head.

Very sweet Ed!
Nice, as John stated, treatment!!

Thanks for the kind words gentlemen ... a moment in time I am not likely to forget.
Yes Ross, My son DID graduate ... two days later (this past Saturday) from a different high school. The two love birds have been together for their entire high school experience (even though separated by 16 miles) and are now planning to attend the same University. If all goes well they should get their degrees and be married in about 4 years. I'll keep you posted.

I think you're right about the feathering John ... here is a new version.
I like having the ability to edit photo's in X1. Now if only Charles and Co. would add the ability to scan directly into XaraX1 ... I could do all of my photo editing with it
Hi Ed,
I think you might need to lighten the background on the left side of her face. It still looks cut there. See annotated pic...

I'm getting all teary just looking at the image. What a sweet thing for her to do.
Tell your son if he knows what is good for him to hold on to her.
