XDP X9 - Wrong version name?

Has anyone noticed that XDP X9 version name is not correct? It should be XDP X1 v9. If I am wrong, then were are versions X1 through X8?

I would not try to apply logic to the names. It is more of a marketing thing.

Why do spme people assume they think they know better than Xara/MAGIX when it comes to product names and splashscreens. Is this why they buy the application, for the name and screen?
