sounds like you should try installing it as administrator
might also be an AV or UAC issue if that doesn't work

Thanks for advice Steve & Handrawn but no luck tried running as Administrator and with anti virus off, it starts to load which takes about 3 seconds and then says 'installation has been completed successfully press finish to complete the set up program'. And then I just get the message posted earlier.

I would raise a ticket with Xara as at the moment their replies are quite speedy.

I guess after installing it you could try running it as administrator - if that works then you only need do it once - if not then I'd agree with Peter about support ticket
[one other thought - is your UAC [user account control] set higher than default - if so you might try resetting that]

Please follow this Xara support article for that error http://support.xara.com/index.php?_m...articleid=3060
@ PeteS Tried this support article made no difference same result before.
@ Handrawn when I change the UAC and reboot computer it says 'preparing desktop' and then logs me in as a temporary user and I have to use a earlier restore point to get my log in profile back.
I've submitted a ticket to xara.
Thanks to all for your quick responses and help.

What is 'Secondary Logon' currently set to in your services list?
I mean both the startup type and is it currently started/stopped/disabled etc?
Sorry, ignore that I mis-read the error message. That solution won't help you're right. It's not to do with the Secondary Logon service.
