I keep meaning to ask and keep forgetting.
Is it possible to change the nib sizes for the Shape Builder Tool and the Shape Eraser Tool?
I find that sometimes the small size is just not small enough.

Just zoom in. The size of the nib is independent of the zoom factor so zooming in doesn't make the nib grow and you can do finer details...

Are you telling me, it is as simple as that?!
Well, at least I have a laugh to myself.
Thanks for the quick reply, Gerry.

mind you it would be useful if there was the option for it not to do this, or ideally for 'new view' to update in real time - because zooming in often means you 'can't see what you are doing' in relation to the drawing a a whole

You can control the nib size in those tools by dragging the slider on the infobar as well.
Hi Fred
the new view does not show the line being drawn as I draw it - it only updates each operation once it is completed, so that is not real-time
if I'm doing something wrong then I'm all ears...

You are correct Steve; it is not real time.
...and I agree it would be most helpful in real time.

Woops, next time I'll remember to actually look at the program before I post, sorry for the confusion.
In Pro X there are buttons on the infobar to change the nib size. As GerryI says zoom in or out to do more finer work.
