    Default where are the tables?

I'm considering an upgrade to Web Designer 9. The ad I received by e-mail says:

"New Widgets for tables, Google+, Google AdSense & photo sliders (see previews)"

The preview page is below. I cannot find any tables on it. Also, the "new" photo sliders basically just look like the old ones with different fades.

What I really need is a slider like the "Easy Accordion," (http://themes.xara.com/easy_accordion/) but which can be expanded to more than 5 entries and has resizable capabilities. This one doesn't even let you change the font size. Does anyone know of a slider like this elsewhere on the web? Failing that, I could use a good, flexible table.

It would be nice if Xara would spend fewer resources on new templates and more on useful widgets.

There is a new Table Widget that is in the Designs Gallery > Page Elements > Other Widgets folder.

Double click on the widget to edit the contents. It is very basic.

Have a look at WOW Slider http://wowslider.com/

Thanks. That table is not what I need. Certainly not worth the upgrade price.

I looked at the Wow slider, and it definitely seems more flexible, but I need one for text rather than photos. This is for the classified ad section on my web site, so it would be nice to have the collapsible panels (as in Easy Accordion). I would put the category name on the tab and then the ad text on the panel. The Easy Accordion might work if it were resizeable and could handle more than 5 categories.

You could always make your visuals text.

I did something similar with my home page www.gwpriester.com using a product that creates a Flash based 3D cube.

There are many more reasons for upgrading to WD9 Premium. You can read my review here http://xaraxone.magix.net/XWD9/index.htm

A bitmap is worth a thousand words.
