Default Error message when trying to assign URL to menu in WD 9

I get this error message when I try to assign an URL to menu buttons:

    'Spuroius internal error has occurred'

It pops up the moment I double click in the url text box.

Anyone else experience this? This site was originally made with XDP and worked fine.

I can't edit existing ones either.

OK... I did a reboot and now it's working :-)

Try closing WD9, then right click on the program icon and select Run as Administrator. You only need to do this once and it will either work or it will not. Let us know one way or the other.

    Thanks Gary

I actually updated the program earlier this morning and I forgot I had done that (before my coffee kicked in! ). I guess that crossed some wires and they got back in order after a reboot.
But what a great improvement this software is. I love the new direct publishing... saves me a ton of time. I have several 30-50 page websites and they now publish in half the time! The reduction of pngs are awesome too!

Ah yes, when in trouble, always shut down and reboot.

    .
This bug can happen if the Web Properties box is already open.
Close the Web Properties box before you try to assign an URL to the navbar.
