You will have to use a third party FTP Client such as Filezilla.
To Configure Filezilla for FTPS Explicit
1. Open Filezilla.
2. Click Open the Site Manager.
3. Click New Site, and then in the My Sites section enter the domain name.
4. In the Host field, enter the domain name.
5. From the Protocol list, select Require explicit FTP over TLS.
6. From the Logon Type list, select Normal.
7. In the User field, enter your username.
8. In the Password field, enter your password.
9. Click the Transfer Settings tab.
10. In the Transfer Mode section, select Active, and then click OK.
11. To test the connection, click Open the Site Manager, and then select the domain name.
12. Click Connect, and then click OK.
I am having this exact same problem and I just did the steps about and Filezilla says could not connect to the server. Could this be a problem with my AVG firewall or with my ISP? If so, I'm not sure what to do to fix it.
You might need to contact your hosting support and check Filezilla support forums for this answer.
You could also compress your site into a ZIP, upload it as that one file then unzip it in cPanel or whatever interface it is.
