Removing Yellow Splotches from Photo

I'm trying to restore an old family photo but the photo has damage (i.e. yellow spots throughtout the pic). I tried working with channels and all available photo filters but I'm not having much luck. Any suggestions??

can only suggest black and white, healing brush in PS for 5 mins to get this,
sorry dont have time to do more and i doubt a black and white image was what you were hoping for.

Thats cool. I was able to clean it up quite a bit with the color replace brush and hours of cloning, blurring and de-noising, lol. Its not perfect, but its decidely better. I do appreciate your help :0)

well done pcilex, i though this might take you a while but when its a family photo your going to put the effort in and the result is your just reward.......
