Finally back to doing some graphics again. This illustration shows a pair of P40's from the 23rd Fighter Group, Flying Tigers, Burma 1942. The four planes are 100% vector and the background is a mix of vector and raster.

Awesome work Gray. Your planes are always enjoyable to see. Is the explosion all vector or just the plane parts?

Great work once again Gray, love those P-40's, the Zero hit is great. I'm currently working on a BF-109 for a friend as time permits

He's back.
Great rendering and really excellent effect on the plane bursting into fire.

Really talented rendering, but the composition doesn't grab me like it usually does. :-(
Thanks Frances, Merv, Gary, Rik, and Paul for taking a look.
Frances although the background is a mix of vector and raster the explosion is raster, not to say that vector couldn't be used to produce that. It's just quicker for some effects to use raster.
Merv, looking forward to seeing that 109 when you get it finished.
You should do drawings for a aircraft museum or something of the like.
Fantastic rendering as always Gray.

Thanks Ron, much appreciate your comment.
Very nice as usual Gray, and as usual I am captivated by and wondering how you do your clouds.

Never give up. You will never fail, but you may find a lot of ways that don't work.
