Cheers Steve, yes that works in FF but linefeeds can become a problem. Strangely enough when I originally posted the code above it wouldn't work but it does now.

I do find the same problem as Bill found in IE though. The background was white as was the text and therefore became invisible unless selected.

The reason I wanted to use a text file is that I want my clients to enter plain text, no html code, fancy text, etc and upload the file to the server and have it display in the placeholder. I've managed to get it working using an iframe calling a swf file (straight calling the swf file doesn't work) and it works a treat.

Yes I often forget to test in IE because I so very rarely use it.
IE ignores a lot of standards.

I added <body bgcolor=black> to the file being called to the iframe (src=frametext.htm)

Here's a working example of using the dynamic Flash content. Using a template and 4 hours work.

Can you post the .web for your iframe popup example? I'm close but not quite there and it would be very helpful! Sorry about posting in an old thread!

Really fresh and clean.
One typo, though, on multiple places, including the footer and flash.
It should read, "Your Image" not "You're Image."
