In design mode text was set to full justification. On preview mode, the text becomes left justified and whole text gets messed up.

I'm not sure but I think it may have to do with your default size setting in your browser. If you make the text larger it affects the justification.
I would tend to use left justified text. The word spacing is more even and it is easier to read, though there are some cases where fully justified text is more formal and elegant.

I have the same issue with my sites i just give up on the Justification and i just do left aligment too.
Due to differences in the way browsers handle fully justified text slight anomalies can occur but a complete shift to left justification points to a different problem.
