    Default Mobile page size test

Go to this page on your smart phone gwpriester.com/test/

    Orient your screen to landscape

There are two pages. I made the first page 340 pixels wide. The second page is 480 pixels wide. How do these two pages look in landscape mode?

On my Nokia Lumea 710 the first page shows a dark gray background on each side (I added this pasteboard color). The second page just fills the width of the screen.

Can you tell me what phone you are using and how each page looks?

    Thanks

Anybody else? I don't need a screen shot, just a confirmation that it looks OK. The it scrolls OK in landscape, that the text is easy to read, and the photo is sharp and clean, etc.

Hi Gary. On my iphone page 1 displays perfectly in portrait. In landscape it has the grey background, but if I tap twice x 2, which is what most iphone users do to increase size, then it fills the screen in landscape mode nicely and is easy to read. Page 2 displays perfectly well in landscape mode, and in portrait I need to tap twice to reduce to the size of the site to fit the screen. But tapping is a normal thing to do. Font and pics display clearly on my phone.

So, Abi, maybe 480 pixels (the second page) is a better width, do you think?
