Read Phil's instructions in the file, the file is version 8 specific so don't try working with it in 6 or something, and first, unlock all the layers before you have fun.

The idea of using Live Copies for patter-making is a fascinating one, Phil.
It got me to thinking this afternoon about textile work, so I began working on an argyle pattern. surely, variations on a single, well-designed argyle pattern would have a lot of commercial purposes.
I've attached it if anyone would like to play with it and improve upon it.
