    Default Mouse-over question

I managed to create a 'mouse-over', so that the image changes when you move your mouse over it.
But, if I now happen to click on the image, I get a 'page not found'.

Is there a way of just creating a mouse-over and not doing anything if you now happen to click on it?

See what I'm talking about by clicking on the link below:

Move your mouse over the image on the right and it changes.
But, if you click on it, you then get the 'page not found'.

[1] Create your object on the mouseoff layer
[2] Copy it to the clipboard (CTRL+C)
[3] Create a new layer in the page&layer gallery, name it as you like.
[4] Make the new layer current
[5] Press CTRL+SHIFT+V to past in place the copy.
[6] Change colour or maybe enlarge the copy (or both)
    [7] Hide that new layer
[8] Make the MouseOff layer current and select the original object
[9] In Web Properties>>MouseOver>>Show popup layer pres the dropdown arrow and choose layer you created and named in step 3.
    [10] Apply

Done. Now press F12 and test

Yes that won't give you a 404 error John, but using # creates a hyperlink to an unamed anchor and will reload the current page. It also will give you the 'finger' when hovering over the object in the browser, which would suggest (and visitors would expect) that it links to 'something'.
Using the popup layer on mouseover option doesn't.

I've just had a look at the file you attached, Steve.
It looks awesome and works just the way I am looking for.

    Thanks very much indeed.

Just need to get some work done and then I will get straight on to this.

Took a short while, but, I managed it eventually.

I couldn't get it to work at first. After trying various things, I thought I would 'Ungroup' the objects.
So, it seems that if you have 'grouped' object, then this will not work.

No problems though, everything is working as I would like now.

    Visualisation

    Thanks again, Steve.

Rik, you can use grouped objects on each layer.
    Same rules apply.

Just be careful if you are grouping object in the new layer set because even if the mouseoff set are hidden you may include them, this will cause the mouseoff set to vanish when you preview.
Instead, use 'Solo mode' to select then group on layers.
