Hm interesting, seeing now the uploaded file on the forum, it is not so bad.
Basically I opened the Xara exported .png in another program, it had black background and maybe that is why thought that the petal borders still needs some formatting.

possibly the other program not so good with the anti-aliasing

Yes thanks, it is the very old version of Paint Shop Pro concretely with version 5 so this is why.
