Is there a trick to getting an animated GIF avatar to animate?
I'm trying to do the attached but it just sits there as an avatar.

Gary, I'm not entirely sure, but, I think the file size has to be smaller than 20KB in order for the animation to work as an avatar. The one you are trying to get to animate is approx. 23KB.
I just replaced my avatar with an older animated one I did a few years ago to see if it still works as an animation. For reference the file size of my animated avatar is approx. 8KB.
Yep! Still works. See if you can somehow reduce the file size of your animation.
I hope that helps,
Harry
that's my recollection also Frank's for example is less than 4KB

OK I made it under 20. About 16.
Yep, that did the trick. I have it rotate 6 times and stop.

I'm glad you worked it out. The avatar is 'looking' good.
Looking good Gary. I have a question though, how did you get it to rotate a specified number of times and then stop?

Never give up. You will never fail, but you may find a lot of ways that don't work.
See attached Larry.
