background image tiling to left

Im having difficulty getting a background image to not repeat. Im using WD6 and have discovered the tweak set and inserted the one for Do Not Scroll Background (which I also need).

The image though is cropped to the page at the left and tiles - to the right of the page the image is continuous. The image im using is massive and Ive tried all sorts of combinations of sizes from 6000px to 1000px in width - it doesn't make any difference and keeps tiling down the left instead of centering the single image. If I apply Do Not Tile Background then I get just a gap down the left instead! Any ideas anyone?

Tried inserting an object naming as <head> and inserting the following code to centre image:

<style type="text/css">

</style>

but my page and its background are then just black, it doesnt work.

I've done it!

- Static Background tweak did the trick. Case closed. I'll sleep now tonight!
