I like the faceted ball and the slow-swinging pendulums. The animation is cool and must have taken some work.

I must have watched it at least two dozen times!

Yes, I was satisfied with the outcome.
The run of the faceted ball are actually two separate animations merged together afterwards. One for the movement on the turntable and one for the straight line. So the hard part was to have the smae image of the ball at the right location where the two animations come together.
The faceting is done by selecting a random number of faces (5 x 20%) and then applying a different material/texture to those selections.
