Excellent work I must say from a great artist. It's a blessing to have people like Gare on planet Earth! I pray that your intention to live forever is taken into consideration by the Almighty. Would be glad to know you personally.

Thanks, ngairoti.
Okay, I'm speaking in jest when I claim my intention is to be immortal (hopefully, that was obvious, unless you really know me).
But I'll share with you my secret to happiness when it comes to being an artist. Or probably anything creative:
I take my work very, very seriously.
But I don't take myself seriously at all.
My Best,
Gary
There is a thread going at the bottom of the forum in the feedback section where a number of members have voiced their wishes for a clip art gallery care to add your voice?

My current Xara software: Designer Pro 365 12.6
Good Morning Sunshine.ca | Good Morning Sunshine Online(a weekly humorous publication created with XDP and exported as a web document) | Angelize Online resource shop | My Video Tutorials | My DropBox |
Autocorrect: It can be your worst enema.
I just gave it my vote, for what it's worth.
You know, I think TG has about as many active members today as my own forum does: <10!
A clipart section could stimulate traffic.
A prime example of Xara's lack of publicity was in a Designm.ag magazine round-up last week.
The compilation is called "39 Mind-Blowing Vector Graphics", which is a misleading title because IMFFHO, there's about 3 really good ones, and the rest is unispirational.
Here's the link, and don't we all feel that the Xara community could do better?
39 AVERAGE vector Art Examples!
You know, this magazine, like other online commodities, gets submissions, and often they're not more ambitious that 2 sentences and a loot of harvested links.
I see this "article" as prime fodder for a rebuttal. But you do it nicely: "Dear Editors— I liked your article on Mind-Blowing Vector Art. I found a rich collection similar to Brant Wilson's, but it's mostly done in one application: Xara Designer. Would you please consider running the attached story with links?"
I think it's that simple. We can all promote Xara within the forum and outside, too, or we can bitch about the lack of community.

do I detect sponsorship from a coffee chain maybe

Nothing lasts forever...
Is that so? I am all ears and ready to get as much advice as I can.

Hey, I second all the motions. It's a beautiful thing Gare.
I can't/won't take credit for inspiring a Xara ClipArt area; I just offered some drawings and accidentally rekindled a flame that was a need already expressed here, but I'm glad we're in agreement that it's a need.
Or close to a need.
Let me see what's goin' on backstage.
My Best,
Gary
