    Question Bitmaps without interpolation?

How can I scale a bitmap so that the pixels stay squared?

By default Xara Designer Pro interpolates pixels.

I need clarification here - are you resizing up or down?

whichever way you go though, technically it is always interpolated

if you are looking for a choice of algorithm in Designer there isn't one

The problem only appears when resizing up. I simply want pixels to stay squares.

For the current drawing the bitmap is very simple, and I just converted pixels to vector squares. That does the trick. But it's time consuming.

you can change your quality [view] setting to full colour - that is the middle setting on the 'set view quality' slider on the bar at the top of the program

also if you go to the bitmap gallery and select the bitmap and then click on the properties button at the top of the bitmap gallery you will get a properties dialog - untick 'smooth when scaled up'
