    Default Chunky text

I have been using WD Pro 7 for a while, but recently a problem has me stumped. Text on the page appears nice and smooth on the design and preview pages, but when it is published, it is very pixelly. See attached pic, design grab at the top and published grab on the bottom.

Cannot figure out what to do

It could be that the text has been converted to a graphic. This is usually because it has been grouped with another object.

If this is the case then select the text and apply the name "htmltext" (without quotes) this will force Xara to export it as text.

links works fine for me but i have also noticed the same effect of text looking rough - in preview ok but on upload a loss of crispness as if the view quality slider has been reduced and exported that way some how? anyone else noticed this?

You will hate this; but, the Text look smooth on my Laptop (Sony Vaio, LED -So, if was 'jagged' it would have shown) oh, Firefox browser, Win7...

Had another play around last night. I am using Vista Home premium and Firefox 6.0.1 and it still displays chunky. If I view the page in Internet Explorer, it is smooth as can be, so I guess I have a browser issue not a WD7 issue. Reinstalling Firefox did not clear the problem so it's over to the mozilla forums.

I am also using Vista Home premium and Firefox 6.0.1 It looks fine on mine. Could it be possible you have zoom activated on your browser? that would give a similar appearance.

Adding a live effect also causes the text to be converted to an image on export.

How does it look when you remove the drop shadow ?
