That is one pretty Pussy Bob. Nice job.
Let's keep it clean guys. (I did get a good laugh, however.)
Hi Bob,
Are you still frehanding your drawings in pencil and pen and then scanning them into Xara snd filling in the details and colour?
That is one big beautiful Pussy well drawn again.
Design is thinking made visual.
Well done Bob!

Hey Albacore,
I use to do it that way but now I do it all in Xara with the use of a drawing tablet.
The drawing still starts as a rough sketch but in Xara. I use a small Wacom tablet. I use the freehand and brush tool, set the freehand smoothing at 10% and a line width at 0.2pt. Then I roughly sketch/scribble out an idea, the same as I would if it were on paper. And in the end it looks like a pencil sketch too.
Then using my sketch as a guide, I place in the black lines on a new layer. Using the pen tool and shaping the lines with the shape editor. Some lines are freehand. All the line work is just lines. The colouring are shapes without outlines placed under the lines of the drawing.
Thanks for the comments, glad you like it.

Pensive or angry is what I see.
But sexy is in the eye of the beholder I guess.
Nice drawing Bob.

I don't have many tricks or tips that I can pass on, this may be my only one, but here is what I do for shadows. I did this for the eyes and the shadow on the neck.
Pretty simple. The shadow is a black shape, transparency added and edges feathered.
You can see how the shadow helps a lot with the side-by-side compairsion to the same eye without a shadow.
