SUGGESTION/REQUEST: Repelling options

I'd like ability to repel text to a specific "space" (withOUT having to give the repelling object a fill = to the paper color or mess with the transparency value) so that the webpage background (color or fill pattern) can be seen in the the repelled space.

So my wish is to have one or both to these options (check boxes) which could be toggleed on or off in the Repel Dialog.
- Ignore Shape Bounds (aka bounding box) - The default state
- Ignore transparency - The default state

Are the current repelling options insufficient to satisfy your stated requirements?
You can specify pixel space H and V at will as well as the anchoring conditions.

Yes, they are insufficient.

Yes, having to make the object have a fill is, well, odd.

John have you tried a 99.5% transparent fill?

Hi Bill, I understand that can be done, but transparencies can require extra grouping and can affect the ease of selection (or mis-selection) of objects and the ability to use links that may reside in the stacking order under the transparent object.

Because this is a functional program request, it isn't a matter of "work-arounds" to me either.

Being able to repel outside or inside but not both at once would be a good thing regardless of fills and such.
