    Default HELP, please, help, help.

Not for my life I get this page published correctly.
    WHY???
There are NOT too many files, not too many pictures in the entire website.
I had this problem numerous times before ... there is no real help from Xara.
My customer needs his site up, he is losing business.

It's always a 'hold your breath' that things are publishing correctly.
    Most often they don't.
And yes, I tried via my own Ipswitch FTP too.
Nothing works. I have the page named correctly: index.htm ...
I have it saved under .web, exported under .htm, publishing just doesn't take it.

PLEASE, it was up before. After I made some minor TEXT changes it went all wonky.

Apparently, you have uploaded your site to the wrong folder on your server. It is here: http://www.u2lights.com/index_htm_files/
    Isn't it?

nooooo... ??? No. it reads: http://www.u2lights.com/index.htm
I can not upload to a wrong folder. There is only one and I uploaded exactly to the folder like I did before.
Why would this change all alone?

But thank you, that you are 'taking me on'

I don't know what you've done wrong, but your site is uploaded to the http://www.u2lights.com/index_htm_files/ not http://www.u2lights.com/
Check your publishing settings or, if you use FTP client, check what are you publishing (you could, for example, export your site to the files folder locally, and then upload everything to your server).

hm, if I only would know what you are talking about.
I made another sceenshot of my FTP client now.
ALL the files ALWAYS say: xxxx _htm_files

What baffles me is that I didn't do anything differently than before. and it works with other sites too.
Hope it's clear enough to be seen.

Guess what, it's up. but with xxx_htm_files.
What I did now was: I went into the file in FTP and deleted MASSES of files that were laying IN there. Files IN files, IN files etc.
How did all this mess get in there?
Anyway, after I had it all cleaned out, I uploaded it anew and boom it was there.

Thank you for your help and greetings to Ukraine! I'm German -

When you export your website from WD, it creates .htm files for every page and an "index_htm_files" folder containing all the images, scripts and other files used in your site. The list may look like this:
    Code:
    INDEX_HTM_FILES
    index.htm
    products.htm
    services.htm
    contacts.htm
You have to upload all these files and the files folder to your FTP folder. Remember - .htm files should not be located within any "xxx_htm_files" folder.
