Default Website Icon in IE tab

    Hello,

I would like to know how to add the icon to my website using WD6 (like the tg graphic for this site). Also, how do I change the names of the pages shown in the browser (currently my home page is called home, when I would like it to be the name of my website). Does it need to be the same as in the layers? Here is my site if it helps... www.luckypawsmn.com

I think I may be putting the favicon in the wrong place or something because it is not showing up. I have it saved as favicon.ico in the same folder all of my pages are stored. Is it supposed to be where all of the images etc are stored?

It should be stored in the same folder as the index file. It's not always immediate though

Yes, sometimes it can take a day or so to show up. Refresh the page in the browser. It also helps to empty the browser cache (usually found in Options).

It still isn't working. I'm not sure what I am doing wrong. The file is named favicon.ico and is in the same place as all my pages (my index page is renamed home).

So your index page is home.htm? Your first page should be index.htm or index.html
