So you want something like the rectangle color to change?

Here's a small tutorial:

I created a separate object of the fruit.

Create your rectangle in the animation window (File > New... > Animation)

Click the small yellow tag icon and name the rectangle.

Click the Copy Frame icon to create a copy of the frame. Change the color of the rectangle. Repeat this a few times and change the color of the rectangle.

Export as a Flash .swf movie.
