Is it possible the creation of groups of layers?

You forgive my ignorance, but it is possible to create group layers? (Like photoshop)
Example *. psd file, open with Adobe and Xara, the latter does not preserve the groups.

If I understand your question, you created a file in Photoshop with two layers grouped. Then when you opened the file in Xara, you lost the grouping of the layers. Xara does not group layers, however you can apply a "soft group" of objects on separate layers. There are limitations to how it works, such as soft groups cannot be nested. However other benefits of grouped objects do apply, just like are normal group on a single layer.

What editing program are you using? Xara can group layers, as Mike says, they are called SoftGroup. But I do not think you can export these grouped buttons to another program.

I'm using Magix Edit Pro 17, according to the manual:

Edit DVD menus with Xara or Photoshop
Adjust menu templates:
• Export menu template:Export desired template as a PSD file from MAGIX
Movie Edit Pro 17 Plus and import into graphics program.

2nd step: Edit menu with Xara or Photoshop:
The resulting PSD file will now be loaded into an external application. The
following steps can vary depending on the application used. They were
described based on Photoshop CS, Photoshop Elements 8 and the download
version of Xara Xtreme Designer Pro 6.

Example:
Photoshop CS1:
In the context menu of the layer group to be duplicated in Photoshop CS1,
select "duplicate layer set". This must be done twice for the movie button and
the chapter menu button. Drag the created layer sets to the required
positions. To do so, the layer must be selected and the Ctrl button be held
down during the click.
Save the results.


Xara Xtreme Designer Pro 6:
In Xara Xtreme Designer Pro 6 you must first open the object galelry after
loading the PSD file. There, for each layer of the PSD file, corresponding Xara
layers will be created with contained objects. The layer groups are represented
with the names of individual Xara layers, with PSD layer names separated by
backslashes.

Maybe not wrong, but inaccurate. The application your quote refers to as "Xara Xtreme Designer Pro 6" is inaccurate.
It's called Xara Designer Pro 6 (no 'Xtreme' anymore.)

That's right. I'm just pointing out that there are apparently inaccuracies in the documentation and was giving you another example
