pdf font embedding restrictions of font NOT used in document

hi guys
ive got a pdf im exporting and it told me at first that one of my fonts could not be embedded. i then changed this font to another font and one side of my document exports as a pdf fine now.

the other side, where i have also changed the font keeps on telling me that font is still not embeddable, which means it may still reside in my document somewhere. however i have combed through the design and cant see where it would be?

is there any way i can identify the fonts used in my document, and exactly WHERE as in positioning, because im thinking it may be hidden somewhere under my layers from a past version of this design.

Unlock all layers, then go to the Name Gallery, there will be a list of fonts used in the document. Make sure you've got the Selection tool active, click on the font in question, and all objects using that font will be selected. You can then switch to the Text tool, and choose another font from the dropdown list.

thank you thank you thank you, you dealt with it first time. i found a little unused box about 20px x 30px with nothing in it from god knows when and it was this that was causing the problem, i just selected it and deleted it. now the pdf exports fine.

You can also have a mystery font that appears between words. You might have deleted a word or words formatted in a font but there is a single space that remains with the font info even though there is no font. The Name Gallery > Select is the best way to find these.
