Help! Out Of Memory

I am working on a site with about 200 photos. Most of the pages are set up in galleries with about 14 thumbnails and 17 layers. I have 15 pages done and about 7 pages to go. However, I can't move because of the out of memory message. I have optimized all jpgs, I have deleted backups, I've removed start up programs without success. I have a new computer with lots of memory. What else can I do besides starting all over again using different software. Help!

You will have to break your site into smaller units and link the units together. I cover this in this months Workbook.

Very clear tutorial. Does this have any negative effect with search engines? Thanks for your help.

I should not think so. As long as your home page has a good title, description, proper keywords and some text that ties all these together.

In the future, I hope that Xara can address this memory issue.

Designer Pro 6 has a Tune-ups section in Page Options that lets you manage the memory a bit better, but this feature is not available with WD6. It should be.
