    Default Moooh....Photo Realistic Milk Bottle

    Hi guys,

I have been playing around with some of the tuts on vectortuts and I came across one to create a photo realistic milk bottle which is proving really difficult. Its created for Adobe illustrator and the result is very impressive. I've had a go, staying up to the early hours! but its just not as impressive and photo realistic like the photo and some of the great creations on this forum, so I know its possible.

I have attached my attempt. Any takers? and if you would, please post you're Xara file so I break down how you've done it and learn some new techniques!

    Cheers,
    Brad

Thumbs up Re: Moooh....Photo Realistic Milk Bottle

Nice job, Brad. Your attempt is looking mighty fine to me.

Here's a link to a thread, Simple Tut, started by stygg2003 showing the results of his go at duplicating the vector tuts+ Create a Milk Bottle with a Funny Cow Label back in April 2009. Just in case you'd like a quick comparison of your results. Unfortunately, though, Stygg didn't post his XAR file.

Wholly Cow...couldn't resist that one. That's fantastic! I think drawing a bottle is really difficult to do, especially a glass one. Well done.

I will check teh forum again for a tutorial or welcome any tips n'techniques and such.

That's a super drawing, Derek. You're going to get a lot of great reviews for that - try not to milk the adulation!

    Hi
I don't think a tutorial, even if I was capable of doing one that was clear enough to understand, is possible for what was basically a freehand drawing, albeit with the help of Designers drawing tools.
I’ll post the xar file for the bottle without the flowers stuck in it a bit later.
    Derek
