lost tool intructions in status bar

Hi,
lost tool intructions in status bar
I used to have some general instruction re whatever tool I was using in psp8. underneath where you do all the selections for that tool. ie the instruction told you to r cl and or drag sort of thing. this is no long there???
can anyone help.

Try pressing Shift + A
