Way to make Custom Shaped Envelope?

The Mould Tool in Xara Xtreme and Designer must have 4 nodes. It cannot have more or less. This limits the shapes that can be used as Moulds.

Converting text to a shape and using the Shape Editor is the more versatile option.

I am just doing single words.... but anything else I can learn along the lines is appreciated.

Like I said earlier...looks like no easy way out. I will have my shape in the bg (as a guide) then I guess convert text to editable shapes and go from there.

Red Boiling Springs is in Macon county. About 70 miles north east of Nashville. I actually live about 4 miles north west of the town.

That would be a nice request to post on Dear Xara.... for more than once i had to break something in parts and apply envelopes to each part to get what i wanted.

Yea, even 8 nodes (like Corel had years ago) would be nice!
However new vector tools isn't where most of the development effort is going these days...
