    Default Crayons for Xara

Remember when you were a kid, the anticipation of opening a new pack of crayons? Here is a colour palette based on all 120 current crayola crayon colours. Unzip the file (I had to zip it because the forum won't accept a .pal file) and you can drag the .pal file onto your page and your new colours will appear on the colour line. Pair it with a custom pressure sensitive brush in Designer, and all that's missing is the smell!

Another way to use it as a default palette, you can convert your .pal file into .jcw (Xara's natives color palette format) uising JCWPad:

    Hi angelize,

Thank you for the crayon color palette. Is there a walk-through on how to save color palettes? When I'm doing projects, I would like to be able to drag certain color palettes. How is it that you say the color palettes to the .pal

I enjoy your participation on this forum. You're very creative and imaginative in the use of Xara's new features. I have been enjoying following the threads that you have been participating in. Kudos to you and keep up the good work.

    Thank you very much Frances

@Psaumure Save the .pal file to the Palettes folder of whichever version of Xara you want. The palette is then available in the Colour Gallery

I may in a few days time post a short tutorial on how to create a custom color palettes folder for designs gallery so you can simply drag from there on to your page to load the colours, but I am taking a break right now in support of our moderators.

    Smile Re: Crayons for Xara

The crayon colors are lookin' good! When I start using the digital crayons I'm sure my imagination will conjure up the associated waxy smell to go with them. I'll have to come up with a little project or two in order to try out the new colors.

    Thanks Frances,
    Harry
