Trouble with Navbar in Web designer 6

I have created a Navbar with a drop down menu, but when I create a new page it wipes out my drop down menu and makes a menu item for each page. If I uncheck link to all pages in the properties box I have to install the navbar in every page manually Am I missing something?

Uncheck the "link to all pages". Instead, when you have your pages created, select your navbar and apply main menu / Arrange / Repeat on all pages.
