.web files wd6 or x5

i have wd6 and x5 when i open one product after having the other opened and closed it comes up with a message of this version of xara 'extreme' is currently not registered for .web file would you like to register it not y/n. if i click yes when i next open wd6 same message appears but for 'wd6'. what should i do? would like both to have capability of web design rather than choosing or do i just click yes eaxch time i boot them up to alternate?

What I do is answer NO for Xtreme and .web files and check the box saying don't ask me again.

This does not mean that I cannot open a .web file with Xtreme, it simply means I must right click the file and select Open With... and select Xtreme.

The association simply selects the default program to use if you double click a filename in Windows Explorer.

I have .xar associated with Xtreme and .web associated with Web Designer.

However both programs can open a .xar or .web file.

NOTE: Until Xtreme Pro 6 is released opening a .web file created by WD6 will report being created by a newer program if you open the file using Xtreme Pro 5.
