    Default Dual Language Site

Hope this is the right forum for this question, don't want the Forum Police after me again.....

How would I go about having a site in two languages.

    Wee-wah-wee-wah-wee-wah...

Pat, in it's simplest form, you could use Google Translate to convert the site to another language, then provide a link to the translator directly for that language

    Example

Of course, google cannot translate any text which has been grouped and therefore exported as an image.

    Thanks Sledger, for that info....

I've seen on some sites where there is flags of different countries, where which the site is in the language of the flag....

That is what I want to do. I am American and my wife is French. I want to create a site for both langauges. Since she lives in France and most transactions will be in french. But I don't want to exclude those that don't speak French but speak English.

    Thanks in advance.

You can create a separate page for each language you need. Use Google Translate or Yahoo Babelfish to translate your text.
Or, you can let them translate on the fly as explained above.
Just add the link to a flag graphic.

    Thank you, once again, Sledger.

That's exactly what I want to do, and also, thank you for the file. I will build upon that...

I am going home to France in a few weeks and my wife and myself will work on the site. She is an artist and we want to sell some of her paintings.

    Regards,
